Crookhaven 4+

I admit to being a fan of Firemaple games going all the way back to their first game, Lost City. Firemaple games always strike the perfect balance of peaceful exploration, compelling stories, and not-too-hard puzzle solving.
Crookhaven has the player exploring a seaside town to solve an ancient mystery and find a lost Pirate treasure.
If you like The Goonies, then you’ll find lots to love in this charming adventure game. The artwork and animation are beautiful and every scene is crafted with care and attention.
It’s one of those games you’ll play over and over again to experience the locations, puzzles and colorful characters.

This is fire maple’s eighth game. I played all of the others. And I waited for a year or two for them to release a new game. This game is about how you solve the secret of the hiding place of the treasure. I won’t give too much away… this game has more characters to interact with then all of the other fire maple game’s characters combined! Definitely worth five dollars. If you haven’t played the other fire maple games then you should definitely try the other ones. And if you have played the other games then congrats on finding this one.

I didn’t realize this was coming out so soon and was thrilled when my daughter noticed the ads for it while playing another Fire Maple game. Point and click adventures were always my favorite (grew up in the 80s-90s), and these are by far the best of the genre. Gorgeous graphics, no bugs encountered, fun objects to find and utilize, and another great adventure/mystery. I love that my 1st grade daughter can read now and play/solve the game as well (with a bit of help from me). Please keep don’t ever stop creating, Joe! Thanks for another zinger!
