Description
Welcome to ASI’s Student Recreation & Wellness Center (SRWC) payment portal and mobile application. Through this portal, users will be able to check-in to the facility and search for various paid services offered at Long Beach State’s SRWC. This includes fitness classes, rock and outdoor adventure trips, intramural leagues, items available at our pro shop, and more. App always signs out automatically
Why does the app always signs us out automatically. Like I know I get it it’s for security reasons. But the chance of someone actually hacking our account is like 1 in a million. Above that most of us have Face ID on our phones. So unless someone stole our phone no one can access our sign in. Above that the app doesn’t do the two step verification so someone can just use a different phone to ‘hack’ our account.
Why
Why do we need to use this to enter the rec center? It’s insanely slow, plus it doesn’t even scan correctly and the doors of the SRWC don’t open. Why not just let us use our IDs to enter, as everyone carry’s them on their self already? Remove the scan in for the app PLEASE. Others features of the app are ok, if they even load which half the time they don’t.
SLOW login
I only use this app for the barcode to get into the gym. On average it takes at least a minute to get signed in and have the barcode displayed. Seems like it’s not just me. You can see people stand in front of the scanner while they wait for their barcode to load up. If there was a UX team for this app, I’d suggest coming to the SRWC to observe.
