Description

CubeTime v3! Interactive graph, export functionality & more!

The most advanced speedcubing utility app ever created, all packaged within an incredibly minimal and modern interface.

CubeTime is currently the only iOS app that uses the official WCA scrambler. No more illegal or invalid scrambles! This includes WCA-complient random state 4x4 scrambles and rotations for blind scrambles.

Not only do we have well-refined session support, we also have different session types, suiting all your solving needs. Special sessions include multiphase – where you can time phases during solves, and comp sim – where you can simulate competitions at home.

Aside from showing you basic statistics, we provide detailed (and of course - beautiful) graphs and visuals, to allow you to gain a better understanding of your solving performance.

We also provide you tools, all within one app – so don't need to clutter your phone with many single-featured apps! Tools include an average calculator, a batch scramble generator and more.

Wonderful timer but the graph and could use a bit of work.

Exactly what the title says. I love the layout of the timer, I love how it shows the scramble review in the bottom left, I love the statistics in the right. Everything about this app is just super clean and amazing. The look of the app is just amazing.

Now the thing that I think needs improvement; the graph. The graph is way to compact and it becomes a bit difficult to tell the times for everything. I think that you should be able to click on the graph and see a more spread out view of everything. Maybe you could scroll side to side to see more detail. Additionally being able to hold down to see the exact times as you go would be useful. Another useful thing would be if you could set up "gates" of sorts on the graph to basically see your average between "gate" one and "gate" two.

Other than the graph everything is pretty much perfect. Maybe it would be useful if you could drag sessions around to where you want them and have session folders so you can be more organized but that's really not a big deal

Best mobile timer and it can be so much more!

This timer is by FAR the best one I have seen on mobile! has a nice, modern, layout, and I love that it shows and analyzes your solves , but there are definitely some things that would make this so much better: 1. Inspection warnings. This could be a feature turned on in settings that gives 8/12 sec warnings in inspection using a customizable voice. This helps out a lot during my solves to know when to start. 2. Inputting scrambles. There are times where I try different scrambles and I don’t like that fact that the app doesn’t let me input scrambles, and whenever I want to do a solve with a custom scramble, I have to go to my computer and use csTimer, and it would be amazing if I could do this on a mobile timer. 3. Different themes. This is totally unimportant, but it would be nice if the app would let you make themes or pick from presets. Again, very unimportant, I just thought it would be a cool feature. I hope you consider these suggestions for the next few updates! This app has so much potential to be the best, and I’m looking forward to see what you do with the app next! - a brand new excited cuber

Developer Response ,

Inspection alerts are now available. As for themes and custom scrambles, we're looking into these. Thank you :)

I need help

For some reason, I can’t actually open this app. When I try to enter it, it lets me swipe one or two things. From that point, it just crashes the app. This seems like something other people have had problems with, so I looked in the reviews. But alas, I looked with no avail. I’m also wondering if this is a hardware problem. Do the devs know if having an iPod touch 7th gen is going to interfere with the app? Or is this problem something else? If it’s a hardware problem, how do I fix it? All and all I’m just looking for good advice and/or the solution. I’m not going to get another cube timer in the meantime, because this seems like an app I’m really going to enjoy.

Thanks!

Developer Response ,

We're sorry about this! This has been fixed in the upcoming v2.0 release. Thanks for the review :)
