Excellent technical and emotional resource

If you’re a partner seeking a singular guide for navigating the miracle of birth, look no further! This app helped me understand my wife’s biological and emotional needs at every turn. For instance, I know exactly when our baby is the size of an eagle talon or the head of an axe. It helps me understand when to take our cat for a walk to let off some anxiety. And I’ll never forget the advice offered at week 25: tell your wife she’s God’s property and only He can ensure your spawn’s safety.

Good job on relating to some men

If anyone is offended by this app then they needed a daddy to tell his son to not get his panties in a bunch about an APP TO HELP MEN UNDERSTAND AND BE THERE FOR THEIR WIVES. As an educator the best way to teach an individual is relate content. This app may be very beneficial for men who relate more to the outdoors than pink fem hats. With that being said, good job. No it probably isn’t for everyone but that’s ok. Because we live in a country where men can search and choose what resources they’d like to utilize to be good fathers. Good job thinking outside the box. Keep up the good work and disregard people who are offended by you doing all you can to help some men understand important aspects of pregnancy and the process. My little man cub arrives in August. Blessed to read new information daily to help me be a better father.

An American soon-to-be daddy!

Stupid and sexist

This app is dumb. It is the definition of toxic masculinity. And to be clear I am a heterosexual cisgendered male and this app offends me. I love to do everything out doorsy as well as get a mani pedi when I want. My wife and I are equals and fatherhood is no a mountain the needs to be conquered it is a life change that must be embraced and assessed like all of life’s choices. This app is trying to teach men that have to be this solid object that just cannot be attained.

The reason I didn’t give it 1 star is that it does have SOME accurate information about development and mom’s needs.

Do better! If This app wants men to “Daddy up” it should really talk about what being a dad really means. Like tips on talking to your kids and talking to mom about what she wants and needs. Dad needs to know what mom wants for her birth plan and to support all of her decisions unless they put her or baby in danger.

Developer Response ,

Thanks for the feedback. We do use some humor and exaggerated lumberjack jokes to give the app a theme, but we have absolutely no intentions of encouraging toxic masculinity. We aim to encourage dads to become more excited, involved, and educated in the pregnancy process and fatherhood in general.
