I’ve been using this app daily for ~6 or 7 years and I absolutely cannot live without it! The app originally provided a daily bible verse only with an applicable prayer. This alone was wonderful because you could read the verse, then open your bible, go to that passage to get more context, and learn/gain insight everyday. Over the years they’ve added features that have improved the experience even more - e.g. reflectional questions with the option to record in a journal, and inspirational anecdotes from various followers of Christ. They often include stories about historical figures whom most people have never heard of (e.g. writers of hymns who had incredibly difficult lives). I’ve learned so much! And just now they’ve added an archive of all their prior bible verses and reflections/stories from the past. You can even browse by topic! More than being thrilled to experience this app and write a review, I’m also incredibly grateful to its creators and contributors. To those involved with this app, you have made a difference in this man’s life and have undoubtedly contributed to my improved relationship with and closeness to Christ. Thank you! God Bless.

When I subscribed to the Dailey devotions , I was in a dark place of depression. My home life was overcoming a very serious hate crime . My grandsons and granddaughter were seriously hurt and abused by an evil family. My daughter was who they directed the hate on. They nearly killed her in the process . The word of God in the daily devotions, always hit my heart as hope and truth and life. One scripture a day became so meaningful. The words that Jesus spoke in the gospels , about having faith as small as a mustard seed, and He alone would build on that as we dive into the truth and life that the Bible reveals. It’s a beautiful way to remind us all, that God is in control and we only need to read and believe ,which is easy as the devotions always seem to be written just for me. I know I’m not alone ,many are enlightened by the word of God everyday. I’m thankful for each new devotion and will continue to get my family the best care to overcome the pain and loss. It has been almost a year and I pray for the courage to report this crime. I pray not to be afraid of these men and the law enforcement who were not there to protect us at all.

For over a year now I have started my day reading the Bible verse and summary, and then writing in the journal. I have been sharing them with my husband and now we pray together out loud each night. Our love for God has always been present but using this site has brought us even closer to God and in our marriage. Still hoping for the day when I can print my journal as a keepsake for my children.

It has been six years since my last review, and a total of seven that I have made Daily Inspirations a daily routine. I am so thankful for these readings and the words of support and encouragement that accompany each scripture. In fact, I now attach my own thoughts to each reading and share it daily with five women from all over the country. It is a journey worth sharing and I feel God’s presence through this experience. Beyond grateful for the collaborators who keep this going💜🙏🏼
