DashSync is the staff app for jewelry stores that run on DashSync. It puts the store's day in your hand on iPhone and iPad: the repairs on the bench, special orders, appraisals, gold buying, payments at the counter and conversations with customers. DashSync is for the staff of businesses that use dashsync.com. Your store creates your account; there is no sign-up in the app. Sign in with the same username and password you use on dashsync.com. HOME • Today's revenue, cash and card totals, and what needs you: unread messages, repairs ready for pickup, money owed. • Live gold price per ounce. REPAIRS AND SPECIAL ORDERS • Take in a repair or an order with photos, a description, a price and a due date. • Move it through the stages (repairing, authorization required, ready for pickup, picked up) and the customer can be texted at each step. • Print repair labels with AirPrint and scan a label with the camera to open the repair. • Take deposits and payments, see the balance and the full history. APPRAISALS AND GOLD BUYING • Create appraisals and share them with the customer. • Buy gold with a quote based on the live gold price, karat and weight. PAYMENTS • Charge a card on the store's Stripe card reader, or record cash. • Quick charge for a walk-in sale, no customer needed. • Choose no tax, tax, or tax plus card fee, the same way as on dashsync.com. MESSAGES • Text customers from the store's number and see their replies. • Instagram, Facebook and website chat conversations in the same inbox, when the store connects them. • Assign conversations, leave private notes for your team, send photos and payment links. CALLS • Call a customer from the store's phone number, not your own. Calls use the iPhone's standard call screen (CallKit), keep going in the background and on the lock screen, and appear in the store's call history. • Call-back reminders so nobody forgets to call a customer back. CUSTOMERS • Every customer's contact details, repairs, orders, appraisals and purchases in one place. MADE FOR THE COUNTER • Built for iPhone and iPad, with a split view on iPad. • Recent data stays on the device, so lists open instantly and stay readable when the connection drops. • Notifications for new messages and a morning summary. • Optional Face ID or Touch ID lock. Requires a DashSync account created by your store at dashsync.com. Card payments need a Stripe card reader set up by the store. Calls and texts use the store's phone numbers set up by DashSync.
