Daubby
Bingo Card Scanner & Dauber
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Your digital daubber. Snap a sheet, Daubby lines up the grid and reads every number, then daubs every card as each ball is called. Now with fast mode for single cards.
Daubby turns the paper cards in your hand into cards on your screen.
Point the camera at your sheet. Daubby reads every printed number on every card and lays them out exactly as they sit in front of you. Scan single cards, 1x3 strips (3ON), 2x2 (4ON), 2x3 (6ON) or 3x3 (9ON) sheets — scan the whole stack you bought for tonight. Three six-pack sheets is eighteen cards per game, and eighteen cards is where paper stops being fun.
Then the caller calls. You tap the number once. All eighteen cards daub in the same instant.
THE SCANNER
This is the part most bingo apps don't do. They track numbers for cards you type in by hand — twenty-four numbers per card, for every card, before the first ball. Daubby reads them off the paper.
Daubby is different:
• Whole sheets at once, not one card at a time, including 3x3 (9ON)
• Lines up the crop on your cards for you, and straightens a photo taken at a slight angle
• Works with the cards you already bought, the ones cruise ships and bingo halls actually use
• Reads each card's serial number too, so you can match a screen card back to the paper one when the caller asks
• Spots a sheet you've already scanned, so the same cards don't end up on screen twice
• Sorts your cards by paper color — when the hall says "this game is on the blue sheets," you pick blue and only those cards come up
• Reads your cards right on your phone. No internet needed, no account — it works in a hall with no signal and on a cruise ship in the middle of the ocean
• A real focus on accuracy, if Daubby isn't sure, cells are flagged and you can always review before saving (excluding Fast Mode)
• That accuracy extends to serial numbers - these are what ties your bingo card to a winning game.
Daubby shows you what it read before you play, and flags anything it wasn't sure of. You confirm, and you're in. A card is on screen in seconds, not minutes.
And if a wrong number on a card slips through, you fix it during the game. Tap the cell, type the right number, and Daubby re-checks that card against every ball already called — so a corrected card comes back already daubed, not one ball behind.
DURING THE GAME
• One tap daubs every card you're holding
• A live board ranks your cards by how close each one is to winning
• Daubby tells you when a card goes one away, so you hear it coming
• Bingo is called the moment it happens, with the card and the pattern
• Parlay straight into the next pattern, keeping or clearing the called numbers
• Undo, in case the caller misspoke
• Screen stays awake through the whole session
EASY TO SEE
Larger text and bigger buttons that follow your iPhone or iPad text size. On an iPad, the numbers and the ball board grow with the screen.
PATTERNS
Single line, coverall, four corners, postage stamp, X, T, L, H, U, C, plus sign, inside and outside frame, kite, triangle, champagne glass, six pack, nine pack — plus every letter and number for the halls that call them. Build your own custom patterns if your venue plays something we've missed.
PARTY MODE — FREE, ALWAYS
No paper cards? Daubby deals random cards for everyone. Kitchen table, classroom, family night, holiday party — pair it with a bingo caller website and your living room becomes a bingo hall. Free forever, no purchase, no scanner needed.
WHAT IT COSTS
Card scanning is free for 60 days — a full run of sessions, not a weekend. After that, one purchase unlocks scanning permanently.
One payment. No subscription. Not per card, not per session, not per year. You buy Daubby once and it goes with you on a cruise, to bingo at church, or to a bingo party.
Party mode stays free whether you buy or not.
PRIVACY
No account. No login. No ads. Your cards never leave your phone.

Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
This is the biggest Daubby update yet. Every change comes from scanning real paper sheets from different manufacturers.
FAST MODE: SINGLE CARDS, ONE AFTER ANOTHER
Bought a handful of single cards? Pick the color and the brand once, then scan card after card. Each card that reads cleanly saves on its own, and "Saved" flashes across the camera with its card number, so you know it went in without looking down. Anything Daubby isn't sure of opens the review screen as usual. When you're done, you see every card from the run.
TELL DAUBBY YOUR CARD BRAND
A new Card brand row in the scan menu: Bingo Innovation, American Games, or Not sure. Each brand prints its sheets differently, and Daubby now reads each one its own way, from where the crop lines go to where it looks for the card number. Daubby remembers your last pick.
CARD NUMBERS YOU CAN TRUST
The card number is what the caller asks for when you shout bingo, so it has to be right. Daubby now checks each card number against the numbering printed across the whole sheet. A number it couldn't read is filled in, and one that doesn't fit is flagged for you to look at before you save.
SHARPER PHOTOS, BETTER CROP LINES
• A blurred or shaken photo is caught before it's read, with a prompt to take another, instead of being read with the wrong numbers
• Bigger framing guides for 3-, 6- and 9-card sheets, aimed at the middle of the sheet for sharper photos
• Crop lines land on 3-card strips and 9-card sheets more reliably, even under warm hall lighting or on a white table
• American Games 2x2 sheets get crop lines placed from their own printed grid
A REVIEW SCREEN THAT LOOKS LIKE YOUR SHEET
The card tabs on the review screen are now laid out in the same rows and columns as the sheet on the table, so you can match each tab to the card in front of you.
NO DOUBLES
Scan the same card twice and Daubby notices, even if its card number was misread the second time, because all of its numbers match a card you've already saved.
SMALL THINGS THAT ADD UP
• The scan menu scrolls on smaller phones
• The card color picker fits in two rows, and "Other..." still takes any color you type
