Decibel Meter is an app intended for objective, real-time measurement of ambient noise and sound levels. It is intended for noise pollution control with the aim to protect the health of its users. The app displays quantitative noise level values in decibels using various measurements both in numerical and graphical form. The app also features a fully functional noise level meter to measure the user’s noise exposure over a period of time according to NIOSH and OSHA (to be chosen by the user). FEATURES: • Measure noise level in decibels (dB); • Track minimum (MIN), average (AVG) and maximum (MAX) sound levels; • Record measurement results; • Save, export and play recorded measurements; • Photos and videos with the ambient noise level overlay; • Noise level meter compliant with NIOSH and OSHA. This is the only sound monitoring app I use on any phone because all the other ones out there are garbage. This one is accurate and extremely easy to use.

I use it whenever I go to my gun club inside rifle and pistol ranges. I wanna make sure I have enough ear protection and I’ll leave if the gunfire is too loud based on the readings I get from my decibel meter five thumbs up for a great app.
