Description
DecipherInk is an interactive genealogy language learning app designed to efficiently help users learn the elements necessary to decipher genealogical documents in various languages. These elements include scripts/paleography, basic grammar, and vocabulary. DecipherInk also includes practice aimed at increasing retention and improving document reading speed, as well as easy-to-use reference materials.

Great for beginners and long time researchers
I consider myself an experienced genealogist. I started the German course to kick up my skills. I wish I had this app when I was just learning, I would have been more accurate and gleaned more from the records. This app makes it easy to just learn what is needed in the language to “Decipher Ink” for genealogists and not how to hail a taxi or order dinner at a restaurant.
