Description

Increase your chances of success with this decision matrix app!

This app uses a weighted-average formula which calculates results based on your factors and their importance.

FAQ:
What can I use this app for?
- Evaluating job offers
- Choosing your next car or house
- Deciding on a holiday destination
- Business decisions

Can I delete unwanted decisions, factors and options?
Yes, just swipe from right to left in order to reveal the delete button.

What's the difference between weighted and binary factors?
Both factors must be given a score of 1-10 for their importance (10 being very important). When adding an option, weighted factors are scored from 0-10 and binary factors are scored as true or false. Both weighted and binary factors contribute to the final score for each option.

How does it work?
This app uses a decision matrix in order to rank options against weighted factors. This provides an overall score for each option and helps with comparison.

Example:
You add a factor named 'pay' and set its importance to 8 (high).
Company A pays averagely so you score it 5. This gives it a weighted score of 40 (5 x 8).
Company B pays well so you score it 9. This gives a weighed score of 72 (9 x 8). This option is the winner.

This is a powerful tool when analysing multiple factors and options at once.

Adequate but:

The basics are good but - after completing a decision I find I need a hand written comparison of the options and factor importance scores. Please include this in the Results page.

3 free factors, really?!?!?

I had the app for a whole 2 minutes and put in THREE factors and was limited to having to upgrade to add more. THREE? Really? I barely even got a taste of how effective the app is. This is poor business management skills LOL. At least give the users like 6 so they get a good sample so they can make an actual buying decision. This gave me NO desire to buy since why would I want to buy something I don’t even know is effective? Dumb

Good app with potential

This was the best of the choices among decision-making apps. It is the only one I found that allowed for weighted criteria.

For my test, I entered 33 choices with four weighted criteria. But when I went to delete one of the criteria I found that delete was not an option. Also, as I got closer to a decision, I wished I could delete some of the now obsolete choices.

Two suggestions: add a back button, and have the ability to delete entered choices/criteria.

This review is for the full paid app.

Developer Response ,

Thanks for the feedback Nonsequitorian. You can delete unwanted factors and options by swiping from right to left (this will reveal the delete button). Could you specify where the back button would be useful? Currently you can navigate using the top bar.
