Description

Declutter The Mind offers guided meditation for mindfulness, sleep, anxiety, stress, work, and a lot more. In addition, Declutter The Mind offers 30-day courses that will teach you how to meditate, form the habit of a regular practice, and expand your mind through the teachings of mindfulness meditation.

This is all without positioning meditation as something mystical, spiritual, or supernatural for it to work for you. The science already shows that a regular meditation practice improves mental health and happiness. Let our app help you unlock these benefits without attaching it to something woo-woo.

Declutter The Mind offers a practical and easy approach to sitting down and observing the mind. With enough practice, you’ll start to have insights into your mind, how it works, and how busy it is. These insights can make you a calmer, less reactive, and happier person.

WHAT IS MEDITATION
If you want to understand the mind, sit down and observe it. Meditation is using a non-judgemental awareness to notice what thoughts, feelings, and sensations appear in consciousness. It’s about becoming aware of just how busy the mind is, and breaking away from that momentum. Buddhists call this the monkey mind, the mind that’s constantly busy and chattering, sometimes without us even fully noticing it. We can call this clutter, and this app will help you declutter the mind.

HOW IT WORKS
Meditation doesn’t require any special equipment, or crossing your legs in a particular way, or holding your fingers out. You just need a comfortable and quiet spot where you can remain undisturbed for 10 minutes. Once you’ve found your spot, choose the guided meditation that best suits your needs. If you’re unsure where to start, check out the Essentials category to find meditations for beginners. Choose the session, select your length, and follow the guided instructions.

Declutter the mind

I am a 69 year old retired guy who never in a million years would have considered meditation. I, as we all, have demons. Demons of memories of the past, social media addiction, anger while watching the news. I got to the point of anger and depression. I quit social media and stopped watching the news, a good start but, I still have issues. As we know the mind never stops. Doing the daily meditation gives me a great start to my day, sort of a road map. I still have demons however, declutter gives me the ability to free my mind and wash these thoughts to the curb. I find myself mindful to accepting daily life as it comes and calming my brain when needed. Yes, I am on a much better path now. Meditation is not an addiction but a good way to clear my head. Stuff still happens but I can control how I deal with stuff. I do recommend declutter as a good tool, for everyone.

Bait and switch

App claims to have unguided meditations, but doors not - at least not in free version. Only guided ones in free. I an deleting

UPDATE: Developer responded to my review, advising that the “unguided” meditations were on the “unguided meditations” page. Not exactly. There is only one library page and it is labeled “Guided Meditations.” There are boxes on that page, each one containing various guided meditations. If you scroll down that page (below what you can initially see) you will find a box that looks just like the guided meditations boxes but is named “Unguided meditations.” I suppose that you would find that if you used the app enough, but if you were just looking for unguided meditations, you would not expect to find them on a page labeled “Guided Meditations.” Alas, once you find them they are nothing more than count down watches

The app is aimed just at guided meditations, so perhaps I was too harsh my initial rating of 1 Star. So I am raising it to 3 stars. No higher, due to the issues I discussed above. The app may be fine for guided meditations (I’ve no idea), but if you want unguided ones you should look at an app like Timer. OTOH, I have no idea how good Timer is with guided meditations. ;-)

Developer Response ,

Hey there,
Unguided Meditations are free and are found under the category “Unguided Meditations” in the meditation library. Let us know if you still have trouble finding it! 🙂

Spiritual awakening

I’ve been calling on The Lord for help for some time now, I’m 29 and been abusing weed for over 12 years. (Abusing and smoking are 2 different things) I smoked every morning before work, during, and a lot more after for years.
I took a day (kinda hard) to clean my mind without smoking for once, and I called to The Lord again and started to realize I need to love myself before others cause I’ve never been happy with me, yet I was trying to help and please others.
So I googled “how to be happy” and this app came up.
With the help of God, I started to use this app to try to meditate for a change. I’m a dude so I thought it was more of a female thing for some stereotypical reason.
But this app points out what bothers most people and has all kinds of categories to help.
I got the free version, I don’t like to spend money on apps so I’m not saying buy anything from it, but the free advice and meditation guide that helps you learn it is really a game changer in my life. Along with music, positive mind set and of course Christs love for us. You have to call on God first and the rest will be all good man.
Try to app out if you’ve been a depressed pothead for years. May be too soon to speak but I’ve used less than a hour of this apps time and I feel great.
Thank the Lord.
