Deepcup is a focus timer set in a small jazz café after closing time. Outside, it is a rainy night in the city. Inside, our own characters and the café regulars read, play the piano, or take a break. When you start the timer, the music starts with it, along with any ambient sounds you picked.
TIMER
- Focus and break cycles: focus (5–90 min) and short breaks (1–30 min), with a long break (5–60 min) after 2–8 rounds
- Simple: a single countdown (1–180 min)
- Choose whether the next round starts by itself
- A chime (vibraphone) and a notification when time is up
- Keep the screen on only while the timer runs, always, or never
SOUND
- 14 songs made for this app: night jazz café, lo-fi, solo piano, bossa nova
- 6 ambient sounds: rain, vinyl, fireplace, café murmur, night street, birds; each at less, normal, or more
- Song speed from 0.70x to 1.30x, without changing the pitch
- Songs are matched in loudness
- Pause stops the sound too; resume picks up the same song where it stopped
- Or play the sound alone, without the timer
- Keeps playing with the screen off or in another app
SCENES
- 12 scenes and 3 art styles: front illustration, box room illustration, pixel art
- Gently moving loop art; character motion speed from 0.50x to 1.50x
- Scenes follow the timer (focus, break, done), or stay fixed
LOCK SCREEN AND WIDGETS
- Time left and buttons (pause, skip, resume, reset and more) on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island (on supported models), without opening the app
- Home Screen widgets (small, medium) with the time left and buttons
- Pause and next song from the Lock Screen and Control Center
SIMPLE BY DESIGN
