devChat is a simpler Slack for small teams. One team room per workspace, direct messages between members, and a native app — without channels to invent, bots to configure, or a web tab you never open. WHAT YOU GET • Team room — everyone in the workspace shares one conversation • Direct messages — 1:1 threads with any teammate, under the team room • Workspaces — switch between teams without mixing their messages • Members and invites — owner, admin, member, guest; roles stay clear • Live updates — when someone else sends, it shows up without a refresh • Dark mode, and a native app on iPhone and iPad. There is no web version WHO IT IS FOR Two to ten people who need a place to talk about the work, not another product to administer. If you need fifty named channels, reactions, and a bot marketplace before the first message, this is the wrong product. GETTING STARTED Create an account with email, make a workspace, invite the rest of the team. The team room is already there. Start a 1:1 from compose when you need it. You must be 16 or older. Choose the name teammates see when you join. Resend a workspace invite that has not been accepted yet. Starting a direct message lists the people already in the workspace. New messages can notify you when the app is in the background.
