The programmer's calculator for iPhone, iPad and iPhone Duo. Decimal, hex and binary in 32 or 64 bits, with a paper ribbon that keeps every step. Free, no ads. Developer Calc is an iPhone and iPad calculator built for people who write code. It is optimized for iPhone Duo: closed, it looks just like it does on iPhone; open, the ribbon and the keypad share the large screen; partly folded, the split sits right on the hinge. One keypad, four modes: calc for ordinary decimal arithmetic, and dec, hex and bin for 32-bit or 64-bit integers. Swipe the keypad left or right to move from one base to another: the current entry and the whole ribbon are converted instantly. Type a number in whichever base you like, and one swipe shows it in decimal, hexadecimal or binary without losing a single bit. Only the digits of the active base are offered: in binary the keypad shows nothing but 0 and 1. Above the keypad sits a paper ribbon. Every operation is printed there with its result. Scroll back through it, tap any value to bring it back into the calculation, or long-press a result to copy it.
