Fantastic App!

One of the few entities in UAE that understands how to treat and respect its customers. Dewa constantly innovates and makes life easier. The integration with Apple Pay saves tons of time and makes the bill payment process a breeze. Etisalat and Du can learn a lot from DEWA!

DEWA is scamming us

They really try to make a profit from electricity because they know we can’t go to anyone else besides them. They play around with the bills if you don’t notice by increasing it especially in the summer (when most people leave the country). They try to cover their loses by targeting certain houses and then hike up their bills we caught them when we were traveling for 2 months and only left the housekeeper in the house and we got a ridiculously expensive bill we called and they sent someone over to check for leaks but there was nothing. This happens almost every summer so be careful and keep an eye on your bills. Install solar panels if you can or get a diesel power generator that would be a lot cheaper than continuously paying them

Bad Experience

I did a move in request kn 1st April 2021 and it should process and complete within 15 hours
As per the system asks i paid the balance security deposit of 1000AED and since 3 months the account not get activated.

Made lot of follow up calls and emails and the customer care did stop responding to my mails as they don't have any answer.

Then latterly they asked me to pay again and they don't know where the paid amount gone! No answer!!!

After a lot if communication and follow up they activated my account and there is double bills in a month!!!

Still the issue is going on

They cannot even provide the consumption report or security deposit receipt

Very bad experience which is not expected from such reputed government organization and i think their IT wing is poor to manage such issues.
