Description
Dialer works with any Plain Old Telephone System (POTS) Landline phone that accepts DTMF tones. Pressing a button generates a DTMF tone which tells the telephone system to dial that number. To dial, you hold your phone's speaker up to a telephone handset or microphone and play the tone by pressing a button or by using quick dial.
Quick Dial allows you to store a calling card number or teleconference number for quick dialing on a landline, simply hold up your iPhone speaker to the landline telephone's microphone or handset and press dial. Commas act as pauses during the dialing tone sequence to allow time for prompts and other delays.
**Please note that some Voice over IP (VOIP) systems can have trouble recognizing the tones, for those systems try a longer key press allowing enough time for the system to register the tone.

No-dial phone and Obihai
I used this app to help perform the initial setup of an Obihai box connected to a “no-dial” telephone (lacking buttons) during the step that required punching in some numbers. I didn’t consider how this might be a problem when I bought both devices, but this app solved it for me. Thanks
Works great with my Echo
Was looking for a way to be able to do DTMF tones while making calls on my Echo. It worked great. Just make sure your iphone is not muted, turn up the volume, and hold it up to the Echo. Worked like a charm.
