DIETARY GUIDELINES
Our application, Lolo, utilizes various elements, including body metrics, gender, and lifestyle factors, to provide an accurate estimation of your daily caloric and nutrient needs. These calculations are based on models referenced from reputable health and nutritional organizations.
For calorie calculations, we use the Mifflin-St Jeor Equation, which has been determined as the most reliable by the American Dietetic Association. You can find more about it here: https://www.niddk.nih.gov/bwp
For nutrient targets, we adhere to the guidelines established by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. These guidelines provide comprehensive recommendations for an overall healthy diet, offering proportions for macronutrients, vitamins, and minerals. Get more information here: https://www.dietaryguidelines.gov
Please note that the calculations provided by our app are estimations and should not replace advice from healthcare providers or certified nutritionists. Always consult a health professional for advice tailored to your specific needs

Nice but Could Have More Potential
I think that the app is pretty intuitive but I think that it could have more potential. Number one you need to be able to go back and add to the previous day if you missed something. It will not let you go back and edit or add to a previous day. I also think it would be very helpful if it would let you put in a image to show your tracking from your weight loss app. This would be information that would just be for you and not for the bot. It just would be handy to keep it all in one place. Other than that it is a pretty cool app. AI has come a long way. TY
Pretty limited
It has potential in concept, but the execution so far didn't go very far.
It only lets you track the current day, there's no way to add something you might have forgotten to the previous day, and there's no button for accessing any sorts of stats of how you've been doing over time in terms of nutrition / calories or food habits day by day.
You're limited to tracking calories for the current day and that's about it, you also have to just trust that the bot really understood the ingredient breakdown as well, since you only get a view of the main dish name (for example, poke, but the ingredients in poke may vary immensely and naturally have very diffetent calories depending on what was included).
If you're even using a chatbot, it would also be nice to be able to submit suggestions from within the app instead of having to send an email.
Might be a good app once it evolves but for now it's not offering much for those who actually need statistics over time.
Developer Response ,
Thank you for your suggestions, actually valuable stuff.
Quick and easy way to track macros
Love the chat interface and how quick it is to track foods. It used to take me several taps and a lot of decision paralysis using the traditional food trackers to search foods, choose the quantity and add each individual ingredient… Now I can simply tell (write or speak) Lolo what I ate with as much or little detail and it does it’s magic to log my food!
Highly recommend for anyone tired of food tracking and looking for an easy solution 🙌

Thank you! 🙏
