Improved usability across calibration, firmware updates, and navigation. Calibration steps are clearer, firmware messaging streamlined, and a new navigation drawer organizes features with easier access to settings and the Ditch. The app now auto-searches for Deltas and offers a simplified Add Delta button.

This update introduces a fully reworked calibration process with clearer instructions, visual cues, and built-in validation to ensure inch-level accuracy. Connection reliability has been improved, with faster recovery, better Bluetooth range, and smoother handling of multiple weather anchors. Orientation settings now support degrees or percent, and overall stability and performance have been enhanced to make the app feel more consistent. This release also lays the groundwork for upcoming updates, including a streamlined firmware update process and major improvements to how Delta manages temperature and pressure changes.

This patch fixes a bug with firmware updates where, for some users, the app would show a device as “Updating” but the update never actually started. Firmware updates should now work as expected.

This update makes Delta setup and project management easier and more accurate. Calibration is now smarter, with automatic corrections and helpful audio cues. Firmware checks are simpler—just tap one button to check all your Deltas at once. We’ve launched Road Grading & Crowning, improved project controls, and made the app cleaner with better dialogs and new unit settings. Minor fixes and a direct Support link are included too.

Manual Firmware Check - Long‑press any Delta to open its control panel, look for the Firmware Version row, and tap Check Firmware. (Heads‑up: the button appears only after that Delta has Wi‑Fi configured.) Streamlined Pop‑ups - Dialogs now behave - just one on screen at a time, and closing it drops you back to whatever was underneath. Plus, the Start Activity dialog can be dismissed if you need to bail out. Under the Hood (Beta) - Curious about upcoming features? Tap the (i) menu and dive into Under the Hood. Calibration Dialog Scroll Fix: Resolved an issue preventing users from scrolling to the “Get Started” button during device calibration, ensuring all controls remain accessible at the bottom of the screen.

Added firmware consistency check to make sure all Deltas are at the same firmware version before starting a new project.

Version 8.4.0 arrives with major UX and calibration upgrades, highlighted by a new calibration workflow aligned with the latest firmware for improved accuracy across distances. Delta management now has a dedicated screen replacing its previous location under the information menu on the Home Screen. We also resolved a minor elevation rounding issue and introduced custom elevation display options - simply press and hold the elevation reading in the project telemetry page to switch between decimal feet, feet & inches, or inches. Finally, we’ve made a series of bug fixes and performance improvements that further enhance overall reliability.

Version 8.1.0 offers key refinements for a smoother DIY experience. A new Elapsed Time display lets you quickly track activity duration. We’ve enhanced haptic feedback for clearer responses and added a simple press-and-hold feature to toggle different elevation units. The start screen now shows Mesh Network status, so you know how many devices are connected at a glance.
