DNB’s mobile app gives you a complete overview of your finances and access to the banking services you need with just a few clicks. Easy and convenient on-the-go.
We’ve upgraded our mobile bank with a modern and user-friendly design, in addition to several new, exciting features. In the mobile bank you can, among other things:
• swipe to make quick and easy payments and transfers
• snap a picture and pay your bills with the invoice scanner
• see your future balance after upcoming expenses
• get an overview of your cards and accounts
• log in with Face ID or Touch ID, if your mobile supports this
• select the accounts you want displayed on your home page
We’ve also made it possible for you to check your account balance without logging into the app. DNB Balance Peek is a widget (mini program) that fetches your balance information from the app. Just add DNB Balance Peek to your mobile and you’ll be able to check your balance right from your Home screen or Lock screen. You’ll find more information about this in the app.
DNB’s mobile bank makes it easier for you to carry out banking services in your everyday life. It will also offer a wide range of new features in the future. We will continuously upgrade our mobile bank, so that you, as a customer, at all times have access to the best solution.
All you need to do to get started is to download the app. Then log in in with your BankdID, BankID on mobile or code device. If your phone supports Face ID or Touch ID, you’ll be able to select this after your first login.

Requires Background App Refresh to be enabled
The GUI is indeed nice, and application feel rather lightweight and fast, but the fact that it requires Background App Refresh to be enabled is very frustrating. Not a single bank application I know does that: Nordea is fine without it, SEB is fine without it and so on - all of them allow me to log in with Face ID, but DNB does not. Why DNB needs Background App Refresh to be enabled for that and others don’t - remains to be unknown.
No business account support
I really wish I could use this app to view my business account however it appears that it's only linked to my personal user.
The UI is real nice though! So (5 stars for that)

Hi, yes that's true. However if you have a small company then you can contact the business customer service then they should be able to set up your account so that it's visible in the regular nettbank. This should also work for the new mobile app (the following day) /Bjarne
Aside from needing a refresh, DNB still refuses to give their customers Apple Pay. As such they remain in the stone ages of banking.
I’ve used Apple Pay since its inception while living in the US, UK, and Canada. I have nothing but positive things to say about how well it works. Norway is quite backwards when it comes to the user experience and banking. DNB’s policy on Apple Pay illustrates that.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
