A big update focused on the ride itself. • Redesigned cycling navigation — a clean, flat top-down map with the road ahead always in view. No more 3D buildings crowding the screen. • Real bike directions — routes now follow bike-friendly streets using true cycling directions instead of a walking workaround. • Smarter map orientation — tap to rotate between direction-of-travel, live compass heading, and north-up. The map turns to face the way you're walking while you head to a dock. • Ride clock — an optional overage guard that warns you before your included ride time runs out. Off by default; turn it on in Settings. • Home-screen widget — nearest docks and live bike counts at a glance, without opening the app. • Bike Lane Map — overlay NYC DOT bike routes directly on the map. • Now in 7 languages — including Spanish, Chinese, and more of the languages most spoken across NYC. • Clearer loading and offline states when you're starting up without a signal. • Plus dozens of refinements to routing, GPS accuracy, and the navigation interface.
