DOCSIOS is a native companion app for DOCSight, the open-source DOCSIS network monitoring tool. It brings your cable connection metrics to iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac — optimized for each platform.
Whether you want a quick glance at your signal health or a deep dive into channel analysis, DOCSIOS gives you fast, structured access to your DOCSight instance from anywhere.
Dashboard
Get an at-a-glance overview of your connection health, gaming score, latest speedtest results, collector status, and recent events — with pull-to-refresh to trigger a fresh modem poll on demand.
Channel Analysis
Inspect downstream and upstream channels with DOCSIS grouping, issue filters, and visual health indicators. Dive into per-channel details including power levels, SNR, error metrics, OFDM frequency ranges, and interactive history charts.
Trends & Performance
Correlate modem health with performance over time. View full speedtest history including download, upload, ping, jitter, and packet loss — with custom range selection.
Connection Monitor
Track latency across multiple targets with P95/avg/min/max stats, packet loss, and per-target detail rows.
Events & Diagnostics
Stay on top of modem events with severity filtering, acknowledge actions, built-in BQM and Smokeping views, and export tools for sharing troubleshooting context with your ISP.
ISP Complaint Workflow
Generate ready-to-send complaint letters directly in the app. Choose the time period, language, and enter your customer details — export as PDF or share via the DOCSight API.
Apple Watch
A native watchOS companion with Signal, Gaming, Speedtest, and Events pages. Includes a health status complication and a Smart Stack widget. After initial setup, the Watch app operates independently without requiring your iPhone nearby.
Widgets & Badges
Two home screen widget sizes for a quick connection health overview. Local badge counts reflect unacknowledged events — updated on app launch.
Privacy
DOCSIOS communicates exclusively with your self-hosted DOCSight instance. No data is collected or transmitted to third parties. All diagnostic data remains on your device.
