Amazing
I think this app is awesome. It’s not a genetic test . It’s look of dog . Make sure the pic is done right .. I have proof of dogs that where really dna test n I got different results.. I recommend it . 💯💯I love dogs . I have fun with it .. oh I have a 11 pro max . Just letting ppl know .. ppl get different results..
Accuracy is questionable
This app has an interesting concept and presumably it could work if it had a well tuned sophisticated machine learning algorithm behind the scenes. I tried multiple different photos of my dog and the app gave wildly different results even when I used almost identical pictures that were taken within a few seconds of one another with very subtle differences in the position of my dogs head. My dog is a fairly rare breed — a canaan dog — and though he’s AKC registered he doesn’t have a classic canaan dog color pattern. Nevertheless he was never identified as being more than 25% canaan dog though I uploaded 15 different pictures and some profiles didn’t mention canaan dog at all. His mother was identified as 97% canaan dog however which I thought was impressive since it is a rare breed but she was a national champion so it’s possible that her picture may have been used for breed recognition training purposes. In any case, it’s an interesting concept but needs much more work...
A nice little fairly accurate app
Is this app 100% correct? No. Should you expect this or any to be? No. The better the photo or picture, the more accurate. I purposefully put in pics that weren’t clear. It did better than I thought it would. It got some I didn’t think it would/could & missed a couple I fig’d it might get. Still, most often the correct breed was listed as a possibility. It’s a nice little app w/room to improve & get even better. Would I bet big $ on every answer being spot on? No. If you would, maybe you should go ahead & change your name to what you might be... a “Mark.” If you’re upset, leaving mean, bad reviews, you must either take crappy pics, expect way to much &/or often get disappointed by many things.
