Even without an update for over one year this is still one of the best browsers. Not all the ads are always blocked now, but I’ve never had any problems and I’ve never even crashed once. It might not be as fast loading websites as others but I don’t think it’s that much of a difference. I still use it today because it has the best desktop mode I’ve seen. One where you can always be in desktop without having to request it on every website, and it works great. Some others might have that I’m not sure. Web pages also load from top down and not bottom up which is how a lot of browsers work for me, so if your stuck with slow internet it’s great. No idea how browsers work or why web pages and images load from the bottom first from most browsers I use but it’s annoying, and this one doesn’t so I really like it.
I don't care about the promised themes

They promise you themes for a rating but I really don't care, I am leaving this because I genuinely like this browser. I came across it because my favorite site had become a mess of pop ups and redirects that literally made it impossible for me to utilize anymore. I saw Dolphin suggested as I went searching for alternatives and gave it a shot. I am thrilled to say it works! I have my favorite site back and that makes me a happy camper. :) Edit: After a year of no problems, some have begun to arise; I haven't had a lot of trouble with crashing as others have reported but I have had a few. I am also experiencing the freezing between page loads and that is frequent, but now the number one reason I loved this browser seems to be failing and that's the ad block. I'm sticking with it for now but if the decline continues with no updates in sight to repair the issues, I will most likely remove it, which would be a shame because it was fantastic previously. :/ Edit 2: I updated previously on April 8th, Dolphin's Adblock no longer works at all, which for me was the reason I added it. Combined with the other issues mentioned by myself and others, I absolutely do not recommend this browser.
Settings & Menu Features are disabled / Won’t Open at Landscape position on ipad !?!?!?

My once trusted & goto browser on my ipad...Now looking for a new browser...after two Dolphin requested Updates within 6 months apart...it never performed the same. From a darling to a dud.6 months ago, I did their requested update, only to find that it would not open at landscape position on my ipad. I then figured out, it only launched at portrait position. I did not want to delete the app and reinstall it due to my vast saved bookmarks and my custom settings. So I lived with it, launching it at portrait position then reverting back to my preferred landscape. Annoying, but I continued on with you.Yesterday (June 24, 2020), I did a dolphin requested update...only to find that the Settings and Menu features are not responsive/ does not open/disabled...nothing! This is the last straw...and I am so now deleting this app and going to use another browser!! Not pleased of what this browser has now become...epic fail!! I have championed your browser to my family & friends, who otherwise favored & touted your highly famed-competitors... So embarrassed now! I am very disappointed that we have to part ways now. Au Revoir!
Desperately needs updating

This once great browser is nearly useless now due to constant crashes. I am using an iPad Mini 3 and iOS 11.3.1. I have deleted the browser and reinstalled it but the same problems remain. I believe the crashes began with a recent iOS 11 update. The browser behaves erratically now. Ad blocking no longer appears to be working. The browser seems to run slower than it used to even with one tab open and all cookies and content cleared. As you begin working within the browser, it eventually begins to grind down and act more strangely. Pages will partially load. Images on pages will partially load. Then, the browser will freeze for 30 seconds or more in between page loads. Until finally the browser crashes completely. Showing patience with this browser has become an exercise in frustration. The only reason I show it such patience is a testament to the one-time greatness of this browser. Seven months is far, far too long to go without a browser update. Is this browser dead? I sure hope not, but I fear it might be the end.
