DOOM DANCE is a life simulator about getting dropped into Doom County, becoming somebody, and seeing what happens before you die.
Every life starts with a different person. You have a name, an age, a history, a personality, some abilities, some problems, a little money, and a limited amount of time.
Then you live.
Get a job. Build a career. Quit. Get fired. Make money. Blow it. Buy a car. Drive around. Get in an accident. Fix it. Gamble. Play blackjack. Bet on horses. Buy lottery tickets. Enter fantasy football contests. Collect records and baseball cards. Go fishing. Go hunting. Visit the pawn shop. Check the lost and found. Watch television. Listen to the radio. Read the newspaper. Take a vacation. Play arcade games. Learn oddly specific human skills. Meet people. Make friends. Fall in love. Get married. Have children. Get divorced. Get into fights. Get into trouble. Get lucky.
Or spend the day doing something completely pointless.
Doom County keeps going either way.
Sports seasons play out. Games happen. News breaks. Jobs come and go. People have schedules. Relationships change. Cars break down. Collections grow. Money disappears. Your choices affect what happens next, but chance gets a vote too.
And there is a lot buried underneath all of it.
DOOM DANCE is full of places, games, statistics, broadcasts, documents, records, collections, characters, strange interruptions, unnecessary details, hidden screens and things you may never find. Some systems connect in obvious ways. Others seem to exist for no good reason. The game isn’t interested in explaining everything to you.
Time doesn’t wait while you figure it out.
Your character gets older. Their circumstances change. Opportunities pass. Eventually, one way or another, they die.
Then you choose another life.
The people you played don’t disappear. Their lives become part of your permanent history: who they were, what they owned, what they accomplished, who they knew, what happened to them and how it ended. Keep playing and Doom County slowly fills with the evidence of everyone you’ve been.
There are things to win. Money to make. Records to break. Collections to finish. Games to master. Achievements to find. Secrets to stumble into. You can try to build an extraordinary life or waste the entire thing.
DOOM DANCE is part life simulator, part sports world, part casino, part arcade, part collection game, part local newspaper and part pile of things that probably didn’t need to be simulated.
There is no correct way to live.
You get a life.

Fixes: new-car announcements now appear for every car. Observation level-ups are announced before the areas they reveal. The radio’s song title shows the whole time the mini player is up. The money statement reads in the past tense. Clearer car stat comparisons. Blackjack shows the table maximum when a chip won’t fit. Small text and layout fixes.
