DoomOff is a Safari Web Extension for iPhone that removes the engineered-addictive parts of seven social platforms and puts every feed back in the order things actually happened. The apps aren't the problem. The endless, algorithm-ranked feed is. DoomOff strips Shorts, Reels, the For You page and similar features out of Safari on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Facebook and Reddit, then defaults every feed that supports it to chronological order, posts from the people you follow, in the order they posted them. HOW IT WORKS Turn on the Safari extension once in Settings, then use the guided Shortcut to redirect each app's icon to its cleaned-up web version instead of the native app. Per site, choose exactly what disappears and what stays: hide Shorts but keep subscriptions, keep stories but lose the algorithm. WHAT'S INCLUDED Per-site toggles for each of the seven platforms. Live previews showing exactly what a toggle changes before you turn it on. Chronological feed by default, wherever the platform supports it. Daily time limits per site. Break glass: unlock everything for fifteen minutes, once a day, for real emergencies like a 2FA code. One subscription, no tiers, no streak-shaming, no notifications asking you to come back. PRIVACY DoomOff collects nothing. There's no account, no analytics, and no server. Settings live in a private App Group container on your device and are deleted when you delete the app. REQUIREMENTS iPhone, iOS 17 or later, Safari.
