Give a small task a deadline. Finish it in time and keep the record. Leave it unfinished and it disappears. With local reminders and completed records.
DoSoon is a deadline-based to-do list for small things you want to do soon.
Write a task and choose when it expires. Finish it before the deadline and it stays in your completed records. Leave it unfinished and it is deleted, without a recycle bin or in-app recovery. If it expires while DoSoon is closed, the app clears it before showing your list the next time you open it.
Set a time for a small task
Start with 24 hours, choose 1 hour or 7 days, or set a custom deadline. Your list groups tasks by expiry date and shows both the expiry time and time remaining.
Keep a record of what you finished
Completed records stay until you delete them. An accidental completion can be undone for 5 seconds, as long as the original deadline has not passed.
Turn on reminders when you need them
Reminders are off by default. Notification permission is requested only when you enable them. Notifications leave out task titles. DoSoon schedules up to 60 eligible reminders, starting with the nearest deadlines. Device conditions and system settings can affect delivery; reminders are not guaranteed to arrive on time.
Keep tasks on this iPhone
No signup, cloud sync, advertising, or third-party analytics. Tasks are not uploaded to a developer server. Task storage is excluded from system backups, and there is no backup or recovery feature. Removing the app or losing your phone can mean losing your records.
Choose your language and appearance
Use English or Simplified Chinese, follow the system, or choose a language in the app. Select light or dark appearance and use your system text size.
DoSoon is free, with no in-app purchases. Requires iOS 18.0 or later on iPhone. Keep essential deadlines in a dependable calendar or reminder system as well.
