DotTrail is a route-file editor by LocationLab for iPhone and iPad. No app account is required.
• Import and export GPX, KML, GeoJSON and CSV.
• Recognize decimal, DDM and DMS coordinates in mixed text, then preview and create a straight-line route.
• Connect points in order; select, drag, rename, reorder and delete them on the map or in the list.
• Draw a polygon to preview and remove points inside it.
• Route Tools: add loops around selected points, use fixed or ranged offsets, and build circular detours.
• Smart Organize: shorten a trip, optionally keep the end, return to the start, merge nearby points, or renumber names with a prefix.
• Preview the original and adjusted routes with point counts and distance comparisons before applying.
• Undo and redo, restore three recent saved versions, and recover deleted routes.
• Save and reopen projects, export repeatedly, and back up the original import and history.
• Sync with iCloud between devices using the same Apple Account.
English and Traditional Chinese follow your system language. Free download with a bottom banner ad; no subscriptions or in-app purchases.
Routes use straight lines and do not provide road navigation. Smart sorting uses straight-line distances, does not consider roads or obstacles, and does not guarantee a mathematically shortest route. Smart sorting supports up to 2,000 points; imports support up to 25 MB and 20,000 points.
Multiple routes are combined in file order. GPX waypoints take priority over route data. Conversion retains supported fields; other original content remains available in a full project backup.

Create and transform routes faster:

DotTrail connects points with straight lines and does not calculate road directions.
