Great app and only getting better

App is amazing. It took me personally a try or two before I understood how the AI worked. But it is pretty easy and it creates the renders very fast. Word of advice if you’re having issues with it getting your car right is upload more, and or different photos of your car from different angles and lighting. It really makes a difference. I first started with the 10 required, and it was doing alright some mishaps as you’d expect an AI to do. But once I uploaded the 20 especially including photos in the areas of error. It really picked up slack. The team is also very helpful and kind when it comes to issues, I reached out to them discussing a matter I had and they helped explain what I could do differently to correct the AI and I tried it. Instantly worked. It just takes an extra minute or two to know what you’re working with. Don’t give up after your first or second photo/video, give them a chance. Definitely one of the higher quality apps I’ve used by far. They also have a pretty large selection when it comes to options for backgrounds, and I hear there’s only more to come!

Absolutely do not download this, it won’t let you do anything with your own car until you pay to subscribe. Then, after a little bit of playing around you learn that you only get a certain amount of credits a month and they want more money! Complete waste, don’t fall for the trap!

You CANNOT see your car with this app unless you fork over a minimum of 10$. And that’s for 1 WEEK of access. Thought I’d at least give it a shot, thinking there would be a non subscription trial option where the images would be heavily watermarked and with only a small number of images generated unless you paid for a subscription. The “try before you buy” model that’s pretty standard with subscription services. But this app is “buy just to try” which honestly leaves a pretty bad taste in my mouth, especially considering the price which is unreasonably high compared to other ai services that reputably offer solid results for a smaller cost. And of the developers can’t operate with a lower price point then they’re doing something wrong and if they’re doing something wrong then the product probably isn’t good. Because if it was good then they’d try to get as many people to see just how good it is. But instead they’re trying to get as many 10$ subscriptions as possible because most people will unsubscribe after seeing how bad it actually is and eat the loss and only a few will go through apples refund process. And they’re banking on this. So don’t bother this app is literally just a quick cash grab

Well, I appreciate the time you took to write a review, but let me address your concerns:- First of all, we offer free image generation with our large collection of trained models. That way, you can check the results without spending anything. If you like what you see, you can always upgrade. If not, there was no commitment from your side. Win-win situation in my eyes.- We do not offer a free trial with your own car because our operating costs are high. As of today, tech is in a state that it's still expensive, specially for our case that we TRAIN a custom AI model just for your car. That requires computational spend and time. We could simply offer a ChatGPT canned response for free, but that's not the point of Driftshot. We offer realistic shots of your car.- And yes, $10 is for one week. Not because it's meant to charge people on a weekly basis, but to offer people a low barrier entry point to try the app out, which is the bare minimum to cover costs. If the app suits your needs, you can easily switch to a more cost-effective option like the monthly subscription.- Assuming that because we can't operate on a lower cost basis it means that we're doing something wrong is, to say the least, an unfair statement. The problem might be that you're used to apps offering low-quality results. That's not our case and you're free to try any of the other many apps that offer the same ChatGPT response. Behind Driftshot there is a team that has spent an incredible amount of hours and passion into something valuable for the car community, as you can see on our social pages. I understand that Driftshot might not be for everyone, but please, remember that every time you post a review on an app, there is a team behind that reads it. We read and act on every single review we receive and take all constructive feedback seriously. I had high hopes for DriftShot, but it’s been a frustrating experience. For a program priced this high, you’d expect reliable results and flexible features. Unfortunately, it only gets the car image right about half the time, which makes it hard to trust for consistent output. AI training runs sluggishly, often lagging behind expectations, and the lack of image management is a major drawback—you can’t edit or delete your uploaded images, which feels unnecessarily restrictive.Overall, DriftShot doesn’t deliver enough value to justify the cost. It needs serious improvements in accuracy, speed, and user control before I’d consider recommending it.

Let me address your concerns one by one:- Car not being right half of the time: if you're not getting consistent results, most likely it's because of the uploaded images. The AI model works best when it's provided with clear pictures from different angles and lighting conditions. And sometimes it messes things up when there are more cars / other elements in the images that could potentially confuse the AI. I would love to take a look at your dataset to make sure you get consistent results. Please, reach out to me through our Instagram and I'll happily help you + add some free credits to compensate. - I would like to better understand what you mean when you say that it runs sluggishly. Since we rely on several services to train the model, sometimes things can fail. We have several systems in place to make it robust, but if you're experiencing lag or wrong behavior, that's something we definitely need to take a look at. - As for the editing / removing uploaded images. I know that it can feel restrictive, but let me explain how that works. 1) We train a model specifically for your car, meaning that it'll learn the shape of your car from the images you upload. 2) Once the training is complete, we use that model to generate photos of your car. The model won't "re-learn" anything else beyond this point, as the training phase is completed. 3) If the model didn't get the car right because the images were not clear enough, we need to train a whole new model from scratch. That's something we can't change, that's how the tech works unfortunately. In any case, I truly appreciate your feedback and, I reiterate, get in touch with me so that I can revert your bad experience and turn it into a great one.
