Awesome App! Could use some tweaks

I've been searching for a simple period tracking app FOREVER. Every single one I've used would always bombard me with ads or hide every feature behind a premium pay wall. Drip is super simple and it stores all your data on your phone so it's easily portable. Some tweaks I would suggest is more features to customize the app. My biggest issue is the calendar starting each week on Mondays. I prefer starting each week on Sundays. Maybe if there was a setting where one could toggle how they would like their calendar to look like. Another suggestion would be to be able to add extra symptom tags manually to each section. There are symptoms that I experience during my period consistently that aren't already options I can just select in some sections [I.e. in the Pain section sometimes I experience bloating or in the Mood section I experience depression and heavy cravings.] and sure there is an "other" option but I would rather add it manually so I can continue to just tap on it instead of write it out every time. It would allow for our recorded data to become more personalized to each person. But overall this app is an awesome period tracking app and I hope more people find this gem. It's amazing and simple to use and I would chose this over other apps any day 💙

Mostly functional. Can’t track long cycles.

Drip can’t handle cycles over 99 days, even though missing and delayed periods are a common effect of hormonal birth control. Everything under 3 digits was fine, but as soon as my cycle hit 100 days, the “period details” table gave out, assigning the previous cycle’s length to the current cycle, i.e. 30 days instead of 100, and continuing that along the whole list of past cycles. The earliest cycle in the list no longer has its length listed, since that number has been reassigned to the next cycle; where it should say “30 days,” it instead says “ day.” My cycles since then, not reaching 100 days, have their lengths recorded in the table as intended, but my “longest cycle” is still listed as under 100 days. The app recognizes how many cycles I’ve recorded, but seemingly can’t recognize any value for cycle length over 2 digits; it’s like the Y2K bug, but for my uterus. I’m now using Drip to record symptoms while using Clue for actual cycle calculations, even though I hate their ad-riddled interface and would rather delete Clue and use Drip exclusively. Apart from this major bug, it’s difficult to transfer data into Drip from a previous tracker. Every time you enter data or view your chart or stats and then return to the calendar page, the view has reset to the current date, and you have to scroll all the way back to wherever you were before.

Great period tracker without privacy concerns!

Love this app! It’s so important for people with periods to be able to feel like they can track their cycle without fear of their information ending up somewhere it shouldn’t. So grateful for this app. It’s super easy to use and after doing research on other apps out there I would totally recommend it. You can also record your BBT! And other period symptoms. It also was spot on last month in predicting when my period would come and I’ve only been tracking for a few months.
