Designed for driving learners—especially teenagers—and the families supervising them, Drive Practice keeps recording simple. Tap Start Driving to time a practice, or quickly add a duration manually when you need to record an earlier session. Review day and night totals, keep separate profiles organized, and see every completed drive in a clear history.
Auto Detect makes that simple utility even easier. With a compatible Bluetooth beacon installed and paired, Auto Detect enabled, and the required permissions granted, Drive Practice can start and stop a provisional recording in the background when qualifying vehicle evidence is detected. Notifications and Live Activity provide status, but the learner does not need to tap, confirm, or stop anything while driving. After the drive finishes, simply add it to the practice log or discard it.

Review automatically detected drives one at a time or add them all at once. Permission controls now open the appropriate iPhone Settings page. Live Activities permission status and guidance have also been improved, along with general reliability fixes.
