DriveMail
Hands-free email for drivers
Only for iPhone
Free · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.
iPhone
Hear new email as it arrives, get long messages summarized, and reply by voice without touching your phone. Works with iCloud, Gmail, Yahoo and Outlook.
DriveMail keeps you connected to your inbox while your eyes stay on the road.
Tap Start driving once, and DriveMail takes it from there. When new email arrives, it tells you who it's from and what it's about, then asks if you'd like to hear it. Just answer out loud.
HANDS-FREE FROM START TO FINISH
- Hear the sender and subject of every new email as it arrives
- Say "yes" to hear it, or "skip" to save it for later
- Reply by voice. DriveMail reads your reply back before anything is sent
- Say "send it," "change it," or "cancel"
SMART SUMMARIES
Long emails get a short spoken summary first, made privately on your iPhone with Apple Intelligence. Want the full message? Just say so.
ALL YOUR ACCOUNTS
Works with iCloud Mail, Gmail, Yahoo Mail, and Outlook (personal and Microsoft 365 work accounts). Watch several at once and give each a spoken nickname like "work" or "personal."
ONLY WHAT MATTERS
- Priority senders: only hear from the people you choose
- Skips legal disclaimers, signatures, and long quoted replies
- Read skipped emails later with one tap
MAKE IT YOURS
Choose from your iPhone's voices, including Premium voices and your Personal Voice, and set the speaking speed. Lower or pause your music while DriveMail talks.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
DriveMail works entirely on your iPhone. There are no DriveMail servers, no ads, no tracking, and no data collection. Your passwords stay in your iPhone's Keychain, and your email goes straight between your phone and your email provider.
Please drive safely. Set up DriveMail while parked, keep your eyes on the road, and follow local laws about phone use while driving.
