Ratings and Reviews
Preparation for Part 107 sUAS test.
I passed the Knowledge Test with a 92% score. I used several paid apps and courses to prepare for the sUAS test, and I found this to be one of the mose helpful study aids. It doesn’t provide “class-type lectures” like some courses that are available, but the audio files explain the answers to sample test questions in some depth. I also believe this provides an excellent selection of study tests with over 500 questions in the database. Both the app and the content have been updated several times since I have been studying for the test to keep the information current. I feel that this is a very good, cost effective study guide.
Dauntless Helped Me Pass the Test
I used this software to prepare for the UAG test.
I am a commercial photographer and videographer, and I wanted to passed the UAG (Unmanned Aircraft - General) FAA test, so I can fly my drone commercially.
You only need a 70 to pass the test, but a helicopter pilot and instructor who I have lots of respect for, told me that your score on the real test is likely to be lower than on a practice test. He recommended not taking the actual test until your practice test scores are in the 90s, since on the real test there will be questions you’ve never seen and you can’t discount nerves.
So I kept taking more practice tests and learning more material until I was getting in the 90s or high 80s on the practice tests.
Some test questions are super easy, some test questions are super hard.
I took the test yesterday and ended up with a score of 85.
This software really helped me prepare.
So I highly recommend Dauntless software.
When you miss a question, it explains the material so you learn it.
UAS Drone Test Prep
I bought the app, only did practice exams… probably took the practice test about 25 times, never did better than 87%. Took the actual test today, and passed with an 80%. Of the 63 questions on the real exam, there were maybe 4 questions that I was not familiar with the information. The maps/charts were spot-on accurate, and were in most cases, the same charts used on the exam, just with different variations of the questions.
Everything else in the exam was covered in the app, and I was adequately preparred to answer the test questions thanks to the GroundSchool FAA Drone Test Prep App.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
