Helped me learn the basics fast

We have a parade coming up that our band is committed to and our WHOLE drum line backed out. We tried to find nearby bands to cover, but no luck. With just two weeks before the parade, a group of us decided to learn some basics very quickly to cover our butts (cause you can’t match without a snare!) We’re still practicing, but I have a much better feeling about it now than before I started using drumr.

Developer Response ,

Thanks so much for sharing this—what an awesome story! We’re seriously impressed by your dedication (and fast learning!) under pressure. Glad Drumr could help you feel more confident and prepared. Wishing you and your crew a strong performance at the parade!

Great for improving fundamentals

Drumr is a great resource for people looking to improve and expand their drumming knowledge. As well they just added tenors which is amazing!

Developer Response ,

Appreciate it! Adding tenor scores is extra fun because Geoff marched and taught tenors with the Blue Devils and Bluecoats.

Cool but could use some work

I think this app is really helpful for warmups especially now that I’m going into my high schools drumline. But, I think there should be less stuff behind the subscription paywall. Like there are some really basic warmups like Double V2/V3 that you can even use. Additionally, it’d be cool if you could edit warmups to match something your group or school does; and if you could write your own warmups

Developer Response ,

Thanks for your review, and congrats on joining your high school’s drumline! We’re glad you’re finding Drumr helpful for warmups. We include a lot of free scores in the app, but we do charge for some content to help support continued development. This allows us to keep growing the library and building out new features—we’ve got some really cool plans ahead.

Drumr is built around ready-to-use scores, but we’re actively reviewing requests to add custom content such as a school drumline’s own exercises. Your percussion or band director is welcome to contact us at contributors@drumr.app to discuss.

While Apple doesn’t offer educational discounts on subscriptions, schools interested in volume access for their drumline can reach out to us directly at hello@drumr.app.

If you have questions, suggestions, or need help, the best way to reach us is through the Support button in the app’s Settings, by emailing support@drumr.app, or tapping App Support here on the App Store.
