Best customer service I’ve ever had

The title says it all. Yesterday I downloaded Pixel Quest and couldn’t put it down. It’s currently the Halloween event and in the event a player can get pumpkins as a random drop. The pumpkins are used as event currency to obtain some neat Halloween themed skins and such for your character. Upon spending my pumpkins I discovered that one of the event chests had a rather unclear description of what was being offered. I posted this on the games Reddit page. Almost immediately the developer contacted me. They had read my post and reworded the event chest description to be much easier to understand for their players. This experience was simply the most professional customer service I’ve ever had in mobile gaming. I just wanted to share this with everyone because it was truly amazing and this is a game that deserves some recognition.

One of the best games on iOS

Hands down one if the most in depth and creative games on iOS.

Completely flexible character builds is what makes this such a good game. With three base classes and six final skill paths, no one’s build will be exactly the same, since you have total control over what you want and where you put your skill points.

With player made dungeons, tiered standard dungeons, and multiplayer mode, you can play for hours while fine tuning your build.

The recent update shows how much the dev listens to players by changing certain game features for the better, while adding some QoL and customization updates as well.

Must have if you like pixel turn based games!

I am conflicted

I would love to give five stars to this game. I feel that there’s a huge core problem with it, I’m talking about enemies scaling with your character. It makes what could be a perfect game feel repetitive, even in the first dungeon when you return after several levels and gear improvements you can never truly melt enemies.

I’m not saying to remove this core mechanic completely, but I would be nice some reworks. For example Assasin’s Creed Odyssey, in that game enemies also scale with your character but when you return to the first areas the enemies are at maximum two levels below your level, and it feels pretty good for the player being able to destroy enemies that gave you problems in lower levels.

I do appreciate that there are no ads or anything like that, I’m just giving my honest opinion. I just want to love this game and is so close, man...

We are working on addressing this issue - while monster scaling should be adequate, it does not play well with the timers mechanic: where losing is expected, it can feel too punishing at a certain point.
Please look forward to future updates!
