Can’t order anything?

UPDATE: after going into Privacy>Location Services and updating the Dunn Bros app’s location settings, the Order screen no longer freezes up. Now everything is working great and I can order as normal.

For the past year, when I click the Order button, the screen stays stuck on Loading and never brings me to the order screen. So I can’t order anything. I have tried deleting & reinstalling the app and updating to the latest version of iOS. Nothing seems to work.

Huge step backwards from previous app

This app is terrible. Leading up to the new release I kept getting emails saying how great the new app was going to be so I transitioned my points to the new app as directed and went into the store to order. You cannot store payment on the new app so now you have to swipe a card and use your phone. One of the major benefits of the old app was that you could just pay with your phone and not have to deal with any other form of payment, points, etc. when I got into the store I tried to scan my app after it had been migrated and it did not work. I had to stand there and give the barista all of my information, name, phone number, email address, which all seemed highly unnecessary since I already did that earlier in the day on the app. I didn’t think too much of it at the time and then went back for another trip this morning and ordered, I had to dig my card out which was annoying, and I held up my phone to scan the barcode for points and it wasn’t working. They printed a receipt and told me I had to enter it manually in the app. I don’t know exactly what was trying to be achieved with this new iteration of the app, I am guessing it has something to do with payment privacy, but it is truly horrendous. This may seem like an overreaction since it is just a coffee rewards app, but still, it’s frustrating to see such a good company take a huge step backwards with their technology.

New app

Got the new app and had to ask the barista about loading credit card. Was told that it needs to be done via gift card loading. That’s ok but would have been nice to have a helpful hint to tell us this. Also- I can’t believe that an ability to give the baristas a tip through the app hasn’t been added. I almost never carry cash so that means I do t have the ability to tip like I would like to do. PLEASE add a “add a tip” into the new app! Starbucks has it and it’s so much easier. Thanks!
