E-POA 4+

It is easy to use, I love the effort to streamline the process. But there is a lot of room to make the app/service better. Add more navigation, i wasn’t able to go back to edit selections on the Powers you give to your agent. After you reach the pay section you have no options except completing the transaction, no going back, no saving a draft etc....

Need to be transparent on cost. I didn’t know how much it was going to cost until I reached the pay section. $207 is too expensive just to assign power of attorney to get some vital records, in my case just only Birth Certificate. $100 software service fee is unbelievable. $12 download fee is interesting...$95 Ethiopian Embassy Fee, well that is kind of customary.

The E-poa application form need to be more friendly and shall give chance to review and correct errors, if any after completing the form. The picture taking and signature process shall also be refined so that applicant sees what has been done before sending. Furthermore, it would make the process easier if clear step by step explanations are given for applicants to complete the form. Incase of request for assistance by phone access shall also be easy.

I found E-POA app very convenient and easy to use. It make a lot of difference compared with the previous process. I have one suggestion though, it would be nice if a user is able to save a draft to finish the application later. As I see, once a user starts the application, either user has to finish and submit the application or lose the data entered if user wants to finish later. Just a good to have if not there already. But overall it’s a great app and will definitely be using it. Kudos to the development team and Ethiopian Embassy for making life a little bit easier. 👍🏼
