Terrible App - Be Warned It's an annual subscription

This is the worst app I have ever used. It does not effectively alert you when hail is imminent in your area. The worst part is, the $4.99 is an annual subscription. If you purchase the app for $4.99, every year on the purchase date you will be charged the $4.99. The purchase shows on your CC statement as GOOGLE*Hail Protector, however when you call the toll free number (which is for GOOGLE), Google cannot find a record of your pruchase, so you are unable to cancel the subscription. Next stop Apple to see if they can cancel this unauthorized subscription. You have been warned.

How to set up Push Alerts

On the main screen, touch the menu button at the bottom right. You may already see your city because of GPS, at the top you'll see the word Locations and a + and - sign. Hit the plus sign and manually add your area to the list. Then go to the push selection screen under Options and the pull down should to show your city and select it.
You can also select long duration notifications or short duraction notifications. Sounds 2 and 3 are 30 seconds in duration. Sounds 1 and 4 are more typical quick sound notifications.

Terrible App

App never once alerted me to hail in my area that one time happened to be almost 2 inches, thankfully I had already put my hail protector on my car based on other FREE weather sites alerts. This is a joke and then they want to charge you annually for the horrible app after the first year! Got to be kidding, total disaster and wouldn’t want this app if it was free for life.
