This is exactly what I needed. I got some pictures from a vacation in a USB. I guess the date on the camera was set to a year and a half from today. I love to have my pictures in the order in which they were taken. So this tool saved me hours of work. Would be nice for the option of being able to do more than 1 picture at a time. But I will take the 15min or so it took to do all 200+ pictures vs. the hours it would have taken to do it any other way.

It worked exactly as it is described. I had a camera with wrong date set so photos all came with wrong date. This app allowed me to fix them. Thank you Joel!

The app indeed is simple and easy to use, and it does change the Create/Modify date in your Finder. However, it doesn't change the actual file creation date/time embedded on the file. If you open the File Inspector Tool inside the Preview App (Tools-Show Inspector), you will see that despite changing the "Create" and Modify" dates with this App, you will still have original dates listed.Which means that others, who you will share your file with, can get the same info .Now you know.Good luck!

When doing multiple files, it will change all of them to the same time and date. Which doesn’t help me cause I only needed to change the day and year on 200+ files. So back to doing it one at a time.
