Turn any song into your own: split it into loops, drums and its own bass sound, rework it in a tracker, then export it mastered and at full level.
EditLab Tracker is a fully featured music composition tool for the Mac. It uses a vertical MOD tracker interface, the style behind classic chiptune music, to sequence samples and notes: the song runs down the screen one row at a time, and you play notes straight from your keyboard. Built-in synth sounds, your own audio, a mixer with real meters, effect racks and automation are all in one window, so anything is possible.
It also has a song splitter. Drop a finished song onto the window and it comes back as a kit of its own sounds: kick, snare, hat, bass and the rest, named where the app can tell them apart. Play them, rearrange them, and remix the song or build something new from it.
EditLab Tracker is free to download. Writing, editing, playing and saving songs are free, with every demo song and three splits of your own songs included. EditLab Tracker Pro, a one-time purchase with no subscription, unlocks unlimited song splitting, WAV and M4A export, sample export and saving splits as sample packs. If you bought EditLab Tracker 1.0, Pro is already yours.
Everything runs on your Mac, with no account and nothing uploaded. Demo songs are included, among them records by Toyota X.
