Developing a Headache ,

Development in Production

This is a sad example of development playing in production. They created a new version of the software in production and have no way of rolling it back to the old version because they apparently never kept a copy of the old version. They plan on rolling out an update to correct what is not working in the future however they don’t know when. You can’t follow the help provided within the app because those options don’t exist. You can’t download your fax or print it.

Any other company would only allow developers to work in a completely separate environment on separate servers and a separate network. Testing only in a development environment to get all the bugs out before deploying it in production. They would have also kept a copy of the previous version in order to roll back to the previous version if something went wrong. This company didn’t any precautions.

Crashing

I also spent an hour on the line with customer service trying to figure this app out. The corporate version crashes every time you log in and you have to download the corporate if you want the HIPPA compliant version. I tried restarting my phone, downloading and redownloading the app (10 times at least), updating my software to most current iOs and it STILLLL DOES NOT WORK. This feels like a scam for 35$/month.

I will say that I can log in on a desk top and send that way without any trouble and their customer support team was patient and kind. But she was even at a lose of what to do.

Constantly crashing, stopped sending notifications

UPDATE: After working fine for quite some time, I am now unable to login at all using the mobile app. Says my credentials are wrong when I know they’re correct! SO FRUSTRATING!!!!

This app worked fine up until a few weeks ago, now it constantly crashes and it stopped notifying me of new faxes. Very important communications are being missed. Please fix this!!
