Eggbits is a retro virtual pet game. Your creature begins as black pixels on an LCD screen and grows through four gaming eras: LCD, a four-green handheld, 8-bit and 16-bit. Each era has its own colors, sounds and mini-game.
CARE, PLAY AND GROW
Feed, treat, clean and care for your creatures using touch controls or the A, B and C buttons. Their needs change in real time, even while the app is closed. Optional local notifications remind you when they need attention. Your care shapes their evolution: discover their forms in the Chronodex.
TEN SPECIES, ONE FAMILY
Adopt Original, Raccoon, Glouma, Brindo, Renardeau, Hibouille, Nuagin, Mousso, Loutrine or Axolo. Adults can lay an egg and continue their family line. Train speed, jumping, strength and stamina, then enter the daily Stadium Grand Prix.
A LITTLE DAILY RITUAL
Play four era-inspired mini-games, beat your records and earn joy for your creatures. Keep your care streak going and reach milestones at 7, 30, 100 and 365 days.
YOUR WAY TO PLAY
Choose Cozy mode with no death, or Retro mode. Choose from three menu themes: Night, Neon and Sun. Three care-screen presentations and collapsible sections in Family, Boarding and Stadium let you make the game your own. Keep your creatures close with the iPhone widget and companion Apple Watch app.
PAUSE THEIR TIME, KEEP THEIR STORY
Board a creature to pause its needs and aging, then bring it back when a slot is free. Family brings the family tree and Chronodex together, with portraits preserving your companions’ final forms. Rare eggs may also hatch shiny creatures.
FREE, WITH OPTIONAL EXTRAS
Eggbits is free with banner ads. There are no automatic interstitials after a game; support ads and rewarded videos are optional. No Ads permanently removes all ads. Unlimited adds unlimited active creature slots and includes No Ads.
Optional support subscriptions are also available. Monthly support includes No Ads; annual support includes No Ads and Unlimited while the subscription is active. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled in your Apple Account. Prices appear before purchase. Restore purchases and manage your subscription in the Shop.
No game account is required. Creature saves stay on your devices.
