Eiger

Gear, weather, route intel

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Eiger is the expedition brief for the mountain you are about to climb. Pick your objective, log the gear you own, and see in one glance whether you are ready. YOUR OBJECTIVE, SCORED Gear compatibility rates your kit against the mountain's real demands for the season you choose: insulation for the cold, membranes for the weather, boot and crampon pairing for the terrain. Gear readiness shows how much of a full mountaineering kit you own, so the gaps are never a surprise. THE CONDITIONS WINDOW One word for the days ahead: Window open, Caution, or Hold. Eiger reads the summit forecast, the avalanche outlook, and the season for your objective, then tells you when a dry daylight block is coming, when to start early, and when to wait. BUILT FOR MOUNTAINEERS • 90+ peaks with expert-checked gear lists, from walk-ups to expedition objectives • Weather built for altitude: summit-level temperature, wind and gusts, precipitation, and UV • Route intel: difficulty, elevation profiles, terrain character, and condition reports from climbers who were just there • Gear sets: save named kits and swap loadouts in one tap • Climber IDs: find friends by name or by a short code, even when a profile is private • Marketplace: a catalog of expert-vetted gear where every spec traces back to the manufacturer • Three looks: Monochrome, Ember, and Alpine Pine EIGER PRO Group trips: build the team, split the shared gear, and see the whole rope team's readiness. Plus offline map downloads, GPS track recording, 3D terrain, the full 16-day forecast, and unlimited gear sets and saves. Try it free for 7 days.
