The EmaraTax mobile app will significantly enhance the way taxpayers access the services offered by the Federal Tax Authority. The app is a taxpayer centric solution with optimized functionalities for taxpayers. With future enhancements, the app will provide seamless integration with all ecosystem players and automate tax compliance services. Users will be able to register for tax, manage their user profiles, file returns, submit homebuilders refund requests, and make payments. All of this resulting in efficient operations and increased taxpayer satisfaction. Users will benefit from the improved and feature-rich app designed to revolutionize the way they manage their taxes on the go. The FTA will continue to launch additional services and features in phases until the first quarter of 2023. The main services and features available in the app include: Language The app supports multiple languages: English and Arabic Registration Register as an online user Login to the portal Modify online user account details Password reset Link TRN to new email address Link multiple online users to a single taxable person’s account Manage access for online users Manage multiple tax accounts using a single email address Change the admin of a taxable person account Refunds Refund claims for UAE nationals building new residences Returns Submit returns Submit VAT voluntary disclosures (VD) Edit submitted VAT returns Edit submitted Excise Tax returns Payments Make payments for returns, VDs, tax assessments and penalties Make advance payments Make payments for Registration printed certificates
