A fire-code citation can carry a 30-day correction window, a re-inspection fee, and, if a deadline slips, a daily fine. When you correct the violation or contest a citation you believe is wrong, the burden is on you to show what happened. Emberwrit is where you build that record.
Emberwrit is a private, contemporaneous defense-and-correction log for small-business owners cited by the fire marshal - restaurants, retail, warehouses, hotels. You log each citation the day you get it, write down your side, document how and when you fixed it, photograph the work, and keep every deadline in front of you.

- Does not give legal advice, does not decide whether a citation is valid or will be overturned, and does not replace your fire department's process. Emberwrit is for documenting your corrections and appealing unfair citations - it is not a way to avoid or bypass any fire-safety requirement. Fire-code references are general information only.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your citation records, correction notes, and attached photos live on your iPhone. There is no account, and nothing is uploaded to a server. A photo you take or choose attaches to the record it belongs to - there is no separate file library. Emberwrit is designed exclusively for iPhone.

SUBSCRIPTION TERMS
The annual subscription auto-renews until canceled. Renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours prior. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Manage or cancel in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. The Lifetime purchase is a single charge with no recurring billing.
DATA NOTICE
Emberwrit stores all data, including photos, on your iPhone and in your iOS Backups when enabled. Data leaves the app only through the share, PDF, and letter you generate yourself. If you delete Emberwrit without an iOS Backup, your records and photos cannot be recovered.
