Description
EMS Guidebook allows the user to view the medical protocols of specific EMS agencies. This guidebook is meant to be a replacement of the traditional flip book guides that EMTs and Paramedics carry for reference on emergency calls.
The specific agencies protocols require passwords to download. Those passwords are available from the agency's Training Officer. The Generic Protocols are available without a password.
As part of the base program, each set of protocols contain references such as pediatric vital signs, burn references, c-spine clearance charts, 12-lead guidelines, American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines, START and JumpSTART triage guides. There are also guides to several common cardiac rhythms with examples.

Ratings and Reviews
Best protocol app out there
I'm so excited about this app. I downloaded it. Contacted mike with the info and in a few weeks my state protocols will be on here. So awesome to not have to fumble around for a book if I have a question. Especially since protocols are changing so often anymore
Cannot use after update
Don’t update if you don’t have to cannot use without allowing location
Developer Response ,
I’m sorry that you have concerns with the location features of the app. You are not required to use those features. If you deny access to location services, the menu item for the location tool will not appear in the Tools section. All other features of the app will function as designed. If you are concerned about your security, we don’t collect any data on you. Your location is only used to give you the coordinates that you need to identify your position. This app is one-way in that no data is sent back to our servers from your device. Feel free to contact us through the feedback link in the Tools section or by email at support@cookiejardevelopment.com if you are having any problems.
Alright
I'm glad that this exists! I've been trying to find a decent Paramedic app for the iPad. This seems somewhat clear, concise, and easy to use. There are multiple spelling and grammar errors that are hard to ignore. There are also some inconsistencies with the cardiac rhythms, and inaccurate information. I see that this is in the beginning phases, so I understand that there are things to fix.
