equen helps managers reconsider how to work with someone when the relationship has become difficult. Prepare for the next conversation by understanding their situation and being clear about what the work requires.
START BY TALKING
Choose the person and tap Start. Answer the coach's questions by voice or text, and what you say becomes notes as you go. You can also add documents or photos. After a short confirmation, the rehearsal begins on the same screen.
CHOOSE HOW THEY PLAY IT
Set the difficulty (Easy, Guarded, or Tough) and how the counterpart tends to react: push back, go quiet, agree on the surface, or change the subject. Whether they are your manager, a peer, or someone who reports to you shapes the power between you.
KEEP TALKING THROUGH THE MISUNDERSTANDING
Practice a one-to-one conversation with an AI counterpart who hesitates, disagrees, and dodges. What you want to confirm in the real conversation stays on screen while you talk. Simulated responses do not reveal what the real person thinks.
REFLECT ON THE WORDS YOU USED
When the rehearsal ends, equen sets out one or two things to take into the real conversation, how far you got on each goal, and how the conversation moved, grounded in what you actually said. You can read the whole exchange again later.
WHAT YOU CONFIRM BUILDS UP, PERSON BY PERSON
Each person has a page that keeps only the background you shared and what was confirmed in real conversations. Correct or remove anything at any time. What the AI counterpart says in rehearsal is never recorded as a fact about the real person.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your people and relationship notes remain on this iPhone. Real conversations are not recorded. Audio files are not saved. Keep rehearsal records for 7 days, 30 days, or until you delete them. Relevant context is sent to AI only with your consent.
Your first two consultations are free. No card is required and the free allowance does not automatically become a paid subscription.
Choose Light (6 consultations per month), Standard (12), or Pro (24), or buy one additional consultation when you need it. Monthly allowances do not roll over; purchased consultations do not expire. Resuming the same consultation does not use another one. Current prices are shown before purchase.
