Good game, but too dark.
The game itself is very good as far as puzzles and challenge (although I found a couple of puzzles I needed help with), BUT, I would say to the developer: the subject matter was unnecessarily dark. It honestly felt demonic. I play these kinds of games to escape life and have a pleasant experience. I guess some people like the horror genre, so not everyone can be happy with everything, but I don’t like thinking about child abuse and murdering one’s family. There is nothing graphic or blood or violence shown, but it’s the storyline that is unsettling. I look forward to your other new games that will hopefully be a little bit more cheerful.
This dev is so bad
This is the fourth game I’ve downloaded from this developer and the first time I’ve put together that they were all from the same dev and I hated every single one. The puzzles are not difficult or stimulating, the storylines are half-cooked with lots of parts that don’t make sense at all. There are lots of glitches in puzzles that don’t work. This game is likely my least favorite I’ve played by them, which is an accomplishment. The storyline was so ridiculous and had so many holes. The floating cactus/moustached-dresser thing is what finally made me give up. I’d rather watch a game with dozens upon dozens of ads or pay $5 for a better game than suffer through this game again. Honestly I’d rather play sudoku than this. Or anything. I can’t comprehend why they have so many reviews higher than two stars.
Notebook Missing Pages
The notebook pages should be very easy to get as they all appear when you click on the candles or finish a puzzle. My issue is that I clicked on just about everything and went back and reclicked all the candles but some pages of the notebook just won’t show up. I’m not sure if it’s a glitch or if I truly missed the page. There is one candle that when clicked on, it gives you a message but the message doesn’t appear in the notebook like the rest of them. As a completionist it’s frustrating that there’s missing pages.
