Sub par Authenticator app

I have used many other Authenticator apps but this one is the worst. The documentation is lacking and Apple Watch support for notification is terrible. It only lets you deny the connection. All the other major players have the apps much more streamlined between uses outside of the specific implementation and use of wearable tech for ease of use. Please update your app to support apple watches with the ability to approve connections from it.

Works great. Not consistent with some of the poor reviews.

I was hesitant to use this app because of some of the ratings. I switched from McAfee Live Safe to ESET Smart Security Premium so I downloaded this just to see. I have only used Microsoft Authentication in the past. In my short experience it has been very very easy to use. The only thing different is that this app asks for a pin as well, just an extra layer of security I guess. That is the only “non-user-friendly” part. Which honestly is a minor inconvenience. I’ll take the added layer for a quick digit input. The QR scan is simple. Pops up effortlessly. The codes are timed and will switch when the time runs out. Good job fixing the bugs ESET!!!

Worst authenticator app I’ve used so far

This is the fifth second-factor app I have installed on my phone, and it’s the worst. EDIT: after a few days, I updated my review from one to two stars. The main problem is poor documentation. This app produces one-time-use codes which are not time-synchronized; that’s why they don’t expire. However, this fact isn’t obvious from either the user interface or the ESET products that use this app. Sadly, ESET products are not compatible with other apps.
