Description
The modern calculator for iOS
Euclid is a modern calculator application. So far, nothing surprising... except that Euclid was designed to be simpler, more efficient, and above all cooler than other applications of the same caliber. But how? Because Euclid has been redesigned to be different, incorporating remarkable features.
The first thing you'll see when you open Euclid is how simple it is. Only a few buttons, your calculation, and the result. That's it. Everything is grouped around the editor to help you see more clearly. Everything is done to be intuitive for everyone.
Our editor allows you to visualize your calculation in real-time with LaTeX technology. Once again, it's to help you see more clearly!
Then, your calculation is analyzed in real-time by the Euler framework, the brain of Euclid, as it were. This home-made, open-source framework guarantees the efficiency of Euclid, and makes it possible to offer regular updates.
But that's not all, it's also what allows Euclid to offer to interpret Excel-style commands. Most mathematical formulas are supported.
Finally, Euclid has other functionalities, such as unit conversion and the use of variables.
Anyway, Euclid is really cool!

Ratings and Reviews
Unintuitive and uncustomizable
It doesn’t even use the standard calculator layout, causing me to hit comma instead of period constantly. Why is it even there when comma decimals are off?
It took me ages to figure out how to get the result of my calculations, and I’m not sure what I did that caused the answer to begin showing up. I just want a calculator app that works like the default Android one. Bonus points for Speedcrunch/Numbat style features, but entirely unnecessary.
Crashes Before it Even Opens
I think the title of this review pretty much sums it up. This is not an app, it’s an icon that you can put on your phone to click on when you’re feeling bored and want to see it fail to even load a startup page.
I the developers’ reply to the other review about constant crashing particularly amusing. To paraphrase, “Just because its response to an unexpected scenario (unexpected by the developers, that is, since it clearly wasn’t unexpected by the other reviewers, 100% of whom encountered it during routine use) is to simply crash, does that make it a rubbish app?” Yeah, I think that’s pretty much the definition of a rubbish app. Either get your act together or at least learn how to gracefully accept your mistakes. It’s called being an adult.
Decent
Powerful, but there is 1 bug and a UI/UX opportunity. When the display is full, adding new characters does not scroll visually, but logically it did. Thus, one need to move to the left to refresh, even though the new characters are on the right. This is known as happened on Mac but fixed already.
Overall, the UI could be improved by allowing gestures instead of relying solely on the arrows, and adding landscape support with the additional buttons.
