This app allows you to explore all discovered exoplanets, their measured physical properties, their location in the night sky, and their host stars. An interactive model shows you the entire observable universe, all the way from the surface of the Earth to the cosmic microwave background. This app has been developed by a professional astronomer. Great App!! (+ a suggestion)

This is an amazing app, it compiles many databases and resources together, which makes researching easier and better. I have purchased every add-on, and it's perfect. I do have a suggestion that you could be able to view multiple databases at the same time, as it would save more time researching. ( oh also, whenever I switch back from another database to the open exoplanet catalogue, all the Kepler objects of interest disappear, and to access them again, I have to reinstall the app)

Amazing graphics and you can make scales with various x and y values. Also regularly updates to add new info and it has a wonderful interactive diorama where you can see everything represented physically and tap different exoplanets and see their data sheets.

New perspective

Foggy Polar Bear
This is an incredible testament to human achievement. Not only have we discovered the existence of entire galaxies at the edge of the universe, but we have also managed to assimilate them to one giant map. It’s given me new perspective, zooming in from the edge of the cosmos all the way to our insignificant planet. Truly an amazing experience. The only complaint I have is that a lot of the exoplanets don’t have even a little bit of imaginative texturing. Even though we don’t have images for a lot of the planets, it would be cool to at least guess and make some artistic renders. And maybe that could be a setting that you turn on and off. As well as a few moons are missing. And the atmosphere on other planets would be epic.

As well as a few moons are missing. And the atmosphere on other planets would be epic.
My Favorite Space App, Hands Down

This is by far the most polished space-related app in the app store. There is no more comprehensive database on exoplanets available anywhere on the internet that I am aware of. I love the galaxy navigation interface (it is a bit of a power trip to send the visible universe spinning with a flick of your finger). The author also has been continually updating and improving the app, which I really appreciate. But the app is also frustrating because of the untapped potential. Why stop at exoplanets? Why not a comprehensive mapping system for all the interesting contents of the universe... supernovae, black holes, merging galaxies, etc.? The author could simply provide links to wikipedia or other databases with descriptions, astronomy pics, etc. I see the potential for this thing to turn into a Google Maps of the universe. I hope the author is as ambitious! (Do a good enough job and who knows - maybe future space travelers will be using a distant relative of this app to plan road trips amongst the stars!) My other complaint is that the exoplanets are not even remotely to scale in the galaxy navigation screen, which ruins the otherwise immersive experience. I want to be able to zoom in farther - much farther, and look at these planets transiting and wobbling their stars up close. Also, a habitable zone illustration right in the galaxy navigation screen would be nice. Just a few suggestions. Keep up the great work!
